Để có một bài thi IELTS Speaking hoàn hảo: Part 3
Trái ngược với part 1, part 3 yêu cầu bạn đưa ra những câu trả lời dài và phải càng chi tiết càng tốt. Câu trả lời part 3 sẽ có cấu trúc giống với một đoạn văn academic (bao gồm câu mở đầu, các ý hỗ trợ và ví dụ, câu kết thúc).
Sau đây là 2 cách để các bạn tổ chức câu trả lời:

- Idea, explain, example (ý, giải thích và ví dụ)
=> Theo đó câu trả lời của bạn sẽ là câu topic sentence (như câu mở đầu một đoạn văn ấy), sau đó các bạn sắp xếp ý hỗ trợ sao cho logic và đưa ra các ví dụ càng chi tiết càng tốt để hỗ trợ cho các luận điểm của mình. Cuối câu trả lời sẽ là một câu kết luận (nếu muốn).
- Firstly, secondly, finally (sắp xếp ý theo thứ tự)
=> Theo đó câu trả lời của các bạn sẽ được dùng làm câu mở đầu. Kế đến là 2 đến 3 luận điểm hỗ trợ và ví dụ (nếu có) cho mỗi luận điểm. Cuối cùng là kết thúc bằng câu kết luận (nếu muốn).
Ví dụ:
1) Do you think that it’s important for people to go on holiday?
=> Sử dụng ‘idea, explain, example’
Yes, I think we all need to go on holiday at least once or twice a year (phần trả lời). It isn’t healthy to work all year round without some time off to relax; we all need to take a break and recharge our batteries from time to time. Last summer, for example, I went on holiday to France for a couple of weeks, and it was great to leave all of my usual responsibilities behind me. I came home feeling really refreshed and reinvigorated (phần explain và example). ________________________________________ (phần kết luận, nên có).
2) Why do you think some people prefer not to go abroad on holiday?
=> Sử dụng using ‘firstly, secondly, finally’
I suppose there are different reasons why some people choose not to go abroad on holidays (phần trả lời).Firstly, it’s usually more expensive to travel abroad than it is to stay at home. A second reason could be that some people find it stressful to spend time in a foreign country where they don’t speak the language, or where they feel that they can’t easily integrate with the locals. Finally, many people just love where they live, and don’t feel the need to travel abroad (phần hỗ trợ câu trả lời). _______________________ (phần kết luận, nên có)
